Shimrit Elkanati is a graduate of Shenkar College of Engineering, Design and Art. She works in comic book illustration, animation for dance productions, and illustrations of children’s books. Her work has been featured in The New York Times, Nobrow and Scrawl. Elkanati also took part in a number of group exhibitions in Israel and abroad. She is the recipient of a 2014 Honorable Mention from the Israel Museum’s Ben-Yitzhak Award for the Illustration of Children's Books.
